Timber Doors FAQ

Q: What is the minimum & maximum width per door?

Minimum
400mm if there is an odd number of doors folding in one or both directions, 700mm is there is an even number of doors all folding one way
Maximum
850mm per door leaf

Q: What is the maximum height of the doors?

2700mm is the maximum overall height (including the frame). We can go higher however the door would then only come with shootbolt locking and no multipoint lock, therefore less secure

Q: What colours do you offer?

We offer a specially selected range of 9 bespoke colours and natural stained wood effects. Additionally, choose from the full range of RAL colours.

Q: Are the doors top or bottom hung?

Our timber doors run from the top track and are guided by wheels at the bottom.

Q: What threshold options do you have?

We have several threshold options, our rebated threshold comes with a severe weather protection promise and we would recommend this for external use. Our low threshold options are recommended for internal use only as they are not weather proof.

Q: Is the running gear visible?

No, the running gear is concealed with the track.

Q: What type of locking do you have on the door system?

On the lead doors we have a 3 point multipoint lock and on every slave door there is shootbolt locking

This is our own system which has been collaboratively designed in the UK.  it is manufactured in Poland.
